Cookie Policy

Exactly what this website stores in your browser, why it is there and how you can control it.

Lumera Research uses essential cookies for the report basket and sample access, plus a small number of local-storage entries for features you choose to use. Cookies and local storage both save information in your browser, although they work differently.

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies. To rank Insights and understand report readership, we maintain aggregate view counts by article and report. A tab-session marker prevents reloads in that tab from counting again; neither the marker nor the counter identifies a visitor.

Browser storage in use

NameTypePurposeDuration

lumera:insight-view:[slug]Session storagePrevents reloads in the same browser tab from being counted as additional reads. The server stores only aggregate counts by article, not visitor identifiers.Until the tab closes
lumera:report-view:[slug]Session storagePrevents reloads in the same browser tab from being counted as additional report views. The server stores only aggregate counts by report, not visitor identifiers.Until the tab closes
lumera-cookie-noticeLocal storageRemembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it is not shown on every visit.Until cleared or the notice version changes

How to control storage

You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking the basket cookie will prevent the basket from retaining reports; blocking the sample cookie will prevent a requested PDF from downloading. Clearing local storage resets your saved theme, display currency, reading highlights and notice choice.

Because the site does not set third-party analytics or advertising cookies, there are no marketing categories to accept or reject on this site. The article read counter is first-party and aggregate.
